Can I install the Atla System myself?

The Atla Water System can be installed by anyone with handy-person skills and a few basic tools. The system comes with simple step-by-step printed instructions. We also have an app you can install on your smartphone or tablet that will visually walk you through each step.

The Kitchen Faucet model is typically installed in about 20 minutes.

Dedicated Faucet models typically take fewer than 30 minutes if you are connecting to an existing dedicated faucet.

If you are installing a new dedicated faucet, you may need to drill through the countertop or sink if you don't have an available hole already. If you need to drill, ensure you have the proper drill bit type for the material you are drilling through. Our faucets fit ½” – 1 ½” diameter holes.

If you are unsure about your abilities, call a plumber for assistance. Any plumber who installs under-the-sink water filters can perform the installation.
